The Universal is our current core size — designed to fit most heads comfortably. It's approximately 31 inches in length and 3 inches in width. Silver is embedded in every fiber — not sprayed on the surface — making it anti-bacterial and odor-resistant. Silver naturally repels bacteria, and bacteria are what cause odor. No bacteria, no smell — even after hours of intense wear.

Because the silver is embedded in the yarn before knitting — not surface-applied — it maintains its anti-bacterial properties through repeated washes. Machine wash cold, gentle cycle, and the fabric holds up. We recommend air drying to extend the life of the fabric, but the silver stays active.

Yes. Sorb Ties are designed for all hair types — natural hair, straight, relaxed, braided, locs, sew-ins, and everything in between. The soft stretch fabric is gentle on edges and roots. Many of our customers use Sorb Ties specifically to protect their edges during workouts or to keep their sew-in looking clean when they want a ponytail.

1st the most common way is the classic back tie — wrap around your hairline and tie at the back for a cleaner, athletic look. 2nd the front tie for a retro flair style, 3rd tuck the ends for a fashion-forward style, or 4th tuck the ends in the back for no hanging ends. Always stretch and double knot for maximum hold. The length and stretch give you flexibility most head ties don't. We'll be adding video styling guides to the website soon.
